HOW do you KNOW?

If you are in education but not in a school or classroom, you've likely spent the past few months building websites packed with videos, tips, tricks, training and all order of supports for learning in:

  • remote classes,
  • face-to-face classes,
  • blended classes,
  • at home classes,
  • on the move classes
  • drop in classes ---- etc etc. etc.

You and your colleagues are now supporting school's like never before. You have done outstanding work and have collectively advanced teaching practice further than any other time in history.

Your resources and support are brilliant but are they helping - How do you Know?

  • That was a great workshop. But How do you Know?
  • Teachers are loving these new ideas. But How do you Know?
  • This is making life better for Teachers. But How do you Know?
  • This is making a difference in how classrooms are running. But How do you Know?

You may hear colleagues saying something like, "That was a great workshop. It was so wonderful to reconnect with everybody - it was our largest attendance yet. We started on time. We got through all of our material. Some people even hung around afterward to say thanks."  However uncomfortable it might, questions remain. How do you Know that the workshop message and materials are making it into classrooms? How do you Know that your work is being used well? People usually struggle when trying something new. How do you Know that your online resources make it past the browsing stage? How do you Know your impact - your influence - your next step?
